One word, catalogued properly: every online slot ever released with the word Knight in its title, kept as a book rather than a directory.
knightslots-nz.com is an independent catalogue of a single theme. Where a general slot directory chases every release in every genre and covers none of them completely, this codex keeps one word and keeps it whole: 54 knight slots from 37 workshops, from a 2011 WMS cabinet game to this season's releases, each with the return its maker published, the volatility it declared and the day it was struck.
Two people. Marnie Coulthard keeps the dated pages — the chronicles and guides. Callum Rees is the chronicler: he plays the slots, captures the screens and checks every figure against the game's own info panel. Neither writes in the other's zone, and both are named on everything they write.
The play buttons lead to partner sites. Those links are marked nofollow sponsored, and they pay us a commission if you open an account. That is the whole business model. It buys no words: the RTP figures come from the workshops, the notes come from sessions, and no partner can move a slot up a list or change a sentence about it. The terms set this out in full.
Invent a figure. Where a workshop published nothing, the register prints «—». Fake a «new» badge. Only the release date puts a knight at the top of a page. Sell a ranking. Every list here is sorted by a published figure or by release date, never by who pays. Pretend to expertise we lack. Table games and live rooms are outside what this codex catalogues, so we do not rank them.
New Zealand, for New Zealand players. Prices are in NZD, the compliance line is R18, and the help numbers on every page are the ones that work from here. The responsible gambling page keeps them all in one place.
If a figure here is wrong, tell us and it will be fixed. The postbag is open, and a correction has never yet cost us anything worth keeping.
The method, written down so it can be held against us: what earns a slot a page, where every figure comes from, and what we do when the data is not there.
The register of 54 knights is built from the data each workshop published: title, studio, release date, RTP and volatility. It is not built from storefront lists, because a storefront tells you what one site carries today, not what exists. When a figure was never published, the entry carries «—» and stays that way until the workshop publishes one.
Slots. A session, not a glance. Long enough to reach the feature at least once. A page about a slot whose bonus we have not seen is not finished, and we would rather publish late than pretend. Figures from the workshop. Published RTP and volatility, checked against the game's own info panel, because many titles ship in several certified settings. Our own screens. Screenshots come from our session. Where a paytable or a bonus round has not been captured yet, the page says so plainly instead of borrowing one. Notes last. Written after the session, with the volatility said out loud.
Settings. Many titles ship with several certified RTP settings. We print the figure the workshop published as the default and say on the page when a lower setting exists, so you know to check the info panel before you play.
We leave them visible. An empty field, a «—», a sentence saying the round has not been reached yet: all of these are better than a plausible invention, because a plausible invention is the one thing a reader cannot check.
Do you play every slot you write about? Every slot with a full page, yes. The register itself catalogues all 54 knight slots from published data; a full page is only written after a session.
Can a partner pay for a better write-up? No. Partner links pay a commission on sign-ups. They do not buy placement, a position in a list or a sentence.
Where do the RTP figures come from? From what the workshop published. Where nothing was published we print «—» rather than an estimate — five of the 54 entries are in that state.
