What that register cannot show is the brand: it lists companies, not casinos, so the link between a name here and the licensee behind it comes from the operators' and reviewers' own claims — claimed, not proven. We have not deposited at any of them, not timed a withdrawal and not written to a support desk, and two of the three sites answered our requests with a block rather than a page. That is why no score, no welcome figure and no payout time is printed anywhere below.

The strongest licensee, read out of the register
The official Curaçao Gaming Authority register, snapshot 26 June 2026, carries the row verbatim: OGL/2023/174/0082, Dama N.V., B2C, 152125, December 24 2025, N/A, Indefinite. Dama N.V. is a large, well-known multi-brand operator, and on the name alone it is the most institutionally solid licensee in this codex.
One detail is worth more than the name. In the 6 February 2026 snapshot of the same register, this row read: June 24 2025, December 24 2025, Assessment in progress. In other words, the licensee went through reassessment and came out on the other side with indefinite standing between February and June 2026. Passing a check is better evidence than never having been checked.
A legacy claim to ignore: 8048/JAZ2020-13. That is the same number some sources attribute to RocketPlay. Numbers that two different brands claim at once are not evidence of anything except copy-paste, and we treat the whole 8048/JAZ family as unreliable. The current, checkable numbers are the OGL ones.
As everywhere here: the register lists companies, not brands. The link between Lucky Ones and Dama N.V. is claimed by operator and review sources, not proven by the register.
Why this charter is third
Two independent sources describe this brand in ways that cannot both be true. One quotes a casino.guru Safety Index of 3.3, which is low. The other calls Lucky Ones among the most credible options for New Zealand players. We could not settle it: casino.guru blocks our fetch, so neither claim was verified first-hand.
That is the whole reason for third place. An unresolved contradiction about safety is not a small footnote on a casino page; it is the main event. Until that index is checked by hand, this house carries no trust badge and no top-pick tag on this site, and if the low figure turns out to be right, it comes off this list.
There is a second gap. Multiple sources confirm Pragmatic Play in the lobby, alongside Playtech, Evolution, Games Global, BGaming and Hacksaw. Play'n GO, which both other houses in this codex carry, is not confirmed here. For a register built on knight slots, that is a real hole in the shelf, and it should be checked in the lobby before anyone relies on it.
The New Zealand side
Lucky Ones is explicitly positioned for New Zealand and quotes its offers in NZD. One source states NZD deposits by Visa, Mastercard and POLi, with roughly 18 hours to a withdrawal in testing. POLi support could not be corroborated by a second source, so it stays marked unconfirmed here, and the withdrawal row says plainly that we have not timed anything ourselves.
The house launched in May 2024. One New Zealand source claims it opened in early 2026, which is either marketing or carelessness; either way it is wrong, and we mention it because a site that gets the launch date wrong is unlikely to have got the payout terms right.
What we could not read, and what to watch for
luckyones.com answered our fetch with HTTP 403 — the site is live, but bot-gated or region-gated from our address — so the footer, the cashier and the terms were not read first-hand. Nothing on this page should be taken as a report of a visit.
The brand also sits inside an unusually heavy cloud of doorway domains: luckyonescasino-nz.com, luckyonescasinonz.com, luckyonescas.com, lucky-ones-casinoau.com and more of the same. The operator domain is luckyones.com, which we confirmed through its Trustpilot profile. Nothing else is the operator, whatever the address bar promises.
The regime that is arriving
The Online Casino Gambling Act 2026 has commenced and is in force, the Online Casino Gambling Regulations 2026 have been released, and the Department of Internal Affairs states implementation is phased and not expected to be fully operational until 2027, with the licensing process being launched. Reported by industry and legal sources but not confirmed on the DIA page: the Act in force from 1 May 2026, applying to any operator enabling a New Zealand-based person to gamble regardless of where it is incorporated; expressions of interest opened 17 July 2026, submissions by 14 August 2026, auction around September 2026; roughly 15 brand-specific licences, three-year terms, one brand per licence; and from 1 December 2026 only licensed operators permitted to offer and advertise online casino games to New Zealand residents.
Dama N.V. is, on size alone, one of the two names in this codex that could plausibly bid in that auction. That is a reason to keep watching it, not a reason to promote it today. Lucky Ones holds no New Zealand licence, because no operator does.
