Callum Rees

Callum is the chronicler of this codex: nothing gets a review page here until he has played it. Eleven years in and around online gaming out of Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, four of them writing about it, and a standing rule that a slot he has only watched a video of is a slot he has not seen.

How he tests a slot

1. A real sessionDemo or real, but always long enough to reach the bonus round at least once. A review without the feature is not a review.
2. Figures firstPublished RTP and volatility from the workshop, checked against the game's own info panel.
3. Screens, not stock artScreenshots come from his own session. Where the round has not been reached yet, the page says so rather than showing somebody else's.
4. The verdict lastWritten after the session, not before it.

How he tests a casino

Licence checked at the register that issued it, own coin deposited, knights of this codex played, then a withdrawal — timed. A house that will not pay inside its own stated window loses its seal, whatever it pays us.
